PLR Motorsport were at last weekends Walter Hayes Trophy at Silverstone, to Help run one of DFR Motorsport’s customers in two of his cars.
The Car pictured above is the Caterham R500 which ran in the All Comers Races on the Sunday and the Below picture is of the Porsche 911 RSR that was run in the HSCC race on the saturday.
Also both cars did the Friday Test Session were Checks were made and DFR’s customer adjusted to the Cars once again.
The Porsche had just had some major work done to the Gear Seletor and needed testing, which the customer said was great now.
The Caterham needed a little setup change which PLR got done, and DFR’s customer liked the setup for the Race’s on Sunday.
Weather conditions on Saturday were not great, there was plenty of rain about but the 911 qualified 4th in the race but fell back due to brake fade, and ended up 10th behind a Ferrari.
While on the Sunday the Caterham had Stiff opposition and could only manage to qualify 12th against Radical SR3’s and a lola T70. In the race the Catherham lost only one place to a much faster car, but was first in class. For the second race he started 13th and finished 13th, and once again got a class win.
